I do wish you had did an actual price comparison of each recipe. Steel cut oat from my experience isnt that cheap, so other than the lack of processing, it wouldnt make sense cost wise for me to make that recipe.

My Dad always had a garden when I was growing up, and my favorite thing was digging up potatoes. What a cool program with the hunting! And what a great skill to learn! Yeah none of these cereals will taste like store bought, they might have a good flavor but not anything like the light texture. Granola is easy to make however.

This is so awesome i really needed to see this because i was just thinking the other day that a lot of stuff we buy in the market we can really make our self's an save money..for example i do make my own granola home made an eat it like cereal but im going to definitely make your recipes for the homemade corn flakes an cinnamon toast crunch . I also going to try to make my own butter, homemade bread,ice cream all kinds of stuff they sell in the market that's boxed we can do our selfs . I tried for 5 years to have a baby. I ended doing ivf and was blessed with my 1st son and then did it again got my 2nd son. Your feelings are valid and it's okay to feel sad, angry, jealous even, all the things... infertility is cruel and not right. Don't be hard on yourself when you feel a certain way. I don't personally believe stress or no stress has anything to do with being pregnant. But of course its so much healthier for yourself to have less stress. 😊

Primal Kitchens makes a Mayo without the poison oils. I get pint jars at Kroger and if i'm at Costco i will buy the quart jars. However, it does tend to separate in the larger quantities. You can fix it by putting an egg yolk and a 1 teaspoon of mustard whip up in your immersion blender and add your Mayo. In fact that little trick works if your Mayo breaks while you are making it.

Wow! I haven't made some of this stuff since the early 80's. My son was hyper and I refused to give him drugs. So this meant making a lot of stuff myself because I not only had to cut the sugar, but he could not handle the red and yellow dyes. Not to mention saving a ton of money. And yes, I had a full time high stress job.
